9-12 months is the shelf life of the finished goods at ambient temperatures if the moisture levels are between 7-11%.

7. Which type of dehydrated vegetables used widely?

Globally, Beans, Carrot, Cabbage and Potatoes are witnessing considerably high demand as dehydrated vegetables. Dehydrated beans are likely to account for hold more than 30% of market share in year 2021. When India is considered, Onion and Garlic is widely exported.

8. What is the dehydration time for agro commodities?

Dehydration time depends on moisture content is processed agro commodity. For instance, a tomato has a greater moisture content and takes a longer period to dehydrate whereas ginger with comparatively lesser moisture will dehydrate in shorter time.

9. How many dehydration batches can one run in a day?

Tie taken for 1 batch depends upon the moisture of processed agro commodity. You can run 2-3 batches in a day for agro commodities with lesser moisture content.

10. What is the reason for major failures in Food Dehydration Business?

Inappropriate purchase and inefficient technology are the two major reasons behind failures units being NPA.

11. What is Buy-back Guarantee Scheme offered in Water Inactive™?

Water Inactive™ offers buy back guarantee for plants above 100kg/batch input capacities. We will be signing an agreement for buying minimum 30% of finished products manufactured in these plants.
